SÖDERTÄLJE, Sweden, Sept. 19, 2025/ PRNewswire/– Scania is enhancing its electrification portfolio with the launch of Scania Industrial Batteries, headquartered in Sweden The brand-new organisation is devoted to off-road and commercial applications such as mining, building and construction and product handling.

This launch follows Scania’s acquisition and carve-out of Northvolt Systems’ Industrial Department in April 2025, placing Scania Industrial Batteries to provide a totally incorporated option now offered to clients.
