According to Down Detector, users started reporting issues at OpenAI around 8:30 p.m.
The San Francisco-based business stated it was examining the problems as users from Japan to Australia were reporting problems.
Around 15 minutes later on, the business stated it was “beginning to see healing in API and Sora,” including: “We are continuing to examine this problem.”

The problem seemed solved right before 12 a.m. EST. A business representative informed FOX Company after midnight: “All systems are presently functional.”
OpenAI reacted to a significant blackout on ChatGPT and other applications in late December. The business stated the problem had actually been brought on by an upstream service provider, which is a business that links to a regional web service supplier’s network to the web.
